Large tracked parcels

The business sellers are all getting to know that for a few pence more, that desk or car seat can get there on time by using RM tracked. We need a maximum size of 600 X 450 and max weight of 2 kilos to stop them.
Anything larger should go to our colleagues at parcelforce at a premium price.
RM seem to let anything through at any cost just to get that few more pence!
Taking a 22k cupboard in a combi is not fun!

Don't know what the maximum size limit is meant to be for Tracked but for weight the limit is 30Kg

max L 61cm W 46cm D 46 cm

tubes and Rolls L 90cm

Oversized items from businesses can be challenged by Revenue Protection.

Often oversized items enter via Post offices mostly by ebay sellers.

Tracked returns have a larger size like the RV service (catalogue returns as an example) They are delivered on cages, back to the return address.

Yet Joe public are limited to 2kilos and 600mm . Only businesses can buy tracked.
Anything bigger has to go with parcelforce at £12+
Now ebay link straight to hermes , ups, dhl etc and are only £6.49, I know what Joe public will choose!

Had a huge parcel come this morning (Sunday) took 3 days and cost Me the princely sum of £4.00 with the courier

I know, let's suggest that they take all the large parcel work off us that we don't like to do, set up a different workforce to do them, give us loads of extra walking that we'll struggle with to compensate for the time we've lost......oh s**t too late !!

Max length used to be 62cm but that might have moved to 120cm last Sept/Oct.
