We’re progressing with a van delivery trial.

Beginning in Swindon, followed by a handful of subsequent locations, this is a key part of our plans to ‘turnaround and grow’ the UK business.

Take 60 seconds to watch the video as national service delivery director Ricky McAulay explains what our van delivery trial is.
This is something colleagues constantly tell us they want, the larger bulky parcels are too difficult to deliver alongside letters and small parcels

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

No mention of the 100+ letters we will need to deliver instead, i have no problem taking a few large parcels but i will have problems with extra deliveries. There will be a lot of cutting off.

from a personal point a view would find delivering letters and smaller packets only much more manageable with less stress involved but then again how many delivery points extra are we going to get in exchange

Looks like it. Lol. Don't be surprised to see post buses come back as it will be " greener" and the grey boxes that they tore down put back up again.

I'm on a rural route, are they going to send someone 20 miles for a parcel that I could deliver on my round. Large parcels in a van, no problem plank
