Unballoted industrial action at Havant Delivery Office (PO9-PO10)today

Members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) at our Havant Delivery Office are taking part in unballoted industrial action today, Wednesday 15 January. Deliveries of ordinary mail are likely to be limited today, due to the limited resource available to us, so we'll be focussing on delivering as many Royal Mail Special Delivery® and Royal Mail Tracked® items as possible. The Customer Service Point at Havant is open for you to collect any item of mail for which we've left you a 'Something for you' card.

If you receive a lunchtime collection from us, unfortunately we won't be able to do this today, so if possible we'd ask you to take your mail to your local Post Office branch. Collections this afternoon should not be affected, and are expected to take place as normal.

Following yesterday's unballoted industrial action at Havant Delivery Office, we're pleased to confirm that all staff have returned to work today, Thursday 16 January. We'll be delivering as normal in the PO9 and PO10 postcode areas today. However, mail volumes and delivery times may be different to normal as we work to recover from yesterday's unballoted industrial action.

The Customer Service Point at Havant is open for you to collect any item of mail for which we've left you a 'Something for you' card.

Collections will be taking place as normal today. We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this action.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
