Merry Christmas everyone.

Post by JohnsonJohnson »

It's been a long one this year, black Friday onwards.
Some good days and some bad.
Twenty years on delivery now and I can honestly say that I've had enough but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
There's some kind people out there who really appreciate what we do, that's what keeps me going some days.
All the best everyone x

for all of you still who work for the common good :thumbup i wish you all the very best of British luck for 2020 :thumbup ...some of us have had more than a 'bumpy' year...some of us are not able to pick their heads up anymore...some of us were finished off by this culture of bullying and harassment...for simply wanting better than whatever they tried to force on us...there are some truly corrupted personalities within the hierarchy; and this is fostered by profit and a bonus driven culture.

Their conscience will be with them, always in their dreams. Fate will play out it's true course. life is one trial after another. i judge only myself. good luck to all with any dignity in their actions :thumbup . your work speaks for itself. never expect any thanks. never expect any reward.

i wish that peace could be with those who need it :thumbup ; despite their present path. hope and peace to all who need it :thumbup . for those who don't deserve it...you know who you are...i give you my pity not my judgement :thumbup .

hoping for inner peace for all of mankind this time :thumbup and that those who don't deserve it wake up to their deserved fate with renewed humanity :thumbup , and begin to share the hope we all deserve for a better existence and future, for the many not the few :thumbup

Thankyou,Merry Christmas to all you hard working posties. A wonderful job, sadly ruined by sheer greed.
A combination of greed from management and SOME posties who can't see down the line the effect of their actions i.e. running round duties, ghosting overtime. The current Dispute should be the final wake up call to do the job properly and FILL YOUR TIME OUT. Who wants to work harder for less?
Praying that some skulls will be penetrated this festive season with a new resolve to take a stand for your right to do the job at a reasonable and comfortable pace. :pray
If you're on management's side, then think how your actions will affect the greater workforce. If you're not on management's side then don't let them single you out. Get with the Union Rep and/or other posties or even go above your unit Rep if you have to. Take a stand. Be the example of how you would want it to be.
Thank you to all the stalwarts in our industry and beyond, and also the CWU for holding back the tide of destruction.

Merry Christmas everyone but a happy new year I doubt. Are You ready for a fight? Rico continues to snap up cheap shares so that tells You what’s coming. He will have plans to boost their values damn quick and He has the union on the ropes.I sense a sell out coming our way.A second ballot would have been the way to go.

Temps made it easy for us this year, been quite fortunate to be honest. I booked 30 minutes all the Christmas pressure period. I've probably booked more than 30 hours in each of my five other Christmas periods at Royal Mail.

Happy Christmas everyone.
