Can we, the members, put forward names to oversee fairplay?
I fear that with both Royal Mail AND the CWU wanting a "Yes" vote, there could be great advantages to 'make' the result acceptable to the both of them.

WHEN THE VOTES ARE COUNTED,HOW WILL WE KNOW IT'S NOT RIGGED?
I pose this question because I don't understand how the votes are counted and by whom. Is it a totally above-board independant organisation who counts the votes or are there ways they can be 'nobbled'?
Can we, the members, put forward names to oversee fairplay?

I am an optimist and I think that the ballot will be fair, although there is a lot of pressure to get a yes vote, we are not in a Banana republic and I believe the vote will be above board. 
What I think is happening is that the Union is leaking the fact that the No vote is winning to try and get the fence sitters, and people worried about money, to feel that their vote is important and they should vote now. However with the count due in 4 days(27th) and the weekend in the way I think tomorrow is the last chance to vote, especially with no Sunday collections

No! The Reform Society used to count all our ballots once upon a time. We shouldn't forget who is paying them though and if a ballot or two thousand should go missing who's counting? Personally I think there should be independent invigilators and all votes should be counted on the day and not before.
