Less than full time hours

In answering the post "part timers made up to full time hours over christmas? " it was interesting to note recognition of a new tier of employee -
e.g. "less than full-time" I assume this would be employees on 35 hours.
However I know for a fact that contracts given to those employed at our RDC on 35 hours have a contract stating full- time. (Originally they were given 35 hour part-time contracts - the contract wording was changed after complaint)

If the flightpath has been diverted perhaps the 35 hour (full-time but less than full-time) contracts should be reviewed.

Interesting, The four pillars is clear when it says that "New full time employees from October 2018, recruited either from existing employees or new recruits in the core OPG grade, will be on a 35 hour week"
The intention that when the flightpath is reached in 2022 that all Full-timers will be on 35 hours.

Your example shows what happened originally at our RDC, when employees were given contracts worded as 35 hour part-time instead of full-time, the difference being that the vacancy was advertised as 35hrs part-time.

This appears a clear contradiction because if employees did eventually achieve a 35 hr week would that mean you were still part-time?

Edit - Have seen this advertisement for a job which clearly states Full time 35 hours! (although says Work part-time hours between the hours of 9:30 and 16:30)

I thought they just paid the difference between the 35 (new full time contracts) and actual full time hours in overtime. You must have just found one that is actually part time and they don’t make the hours up.
