Can anyone explain to me how south western rail workers are able to strike after talks with acas break down, but we are taken to court and forced to cancel any plans for proposed strike action.

Because they don't have any impact on the general election. In my opinion the injunction was granted because of this.

Or far more likely, their union observed all the various rules and regs regarding postal ballots, and didn't give their employer's legal team and open goal.

The strike will be on and off for 27 days, so with hundreds of thousands of people unable to get to work surely it would have a serious financial effect on the economy.

That's correct as their union department are far more savvy than the clown we have and the coms department should all be sacked .
But that Grant shapp Shithead tory turd is after stopping their strikes through new powers which is in the tory manifesto that the turds are hoping to force on the working class. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... il-strikes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
