How does one go about it?

Ive been lumbered with someone who deliberately goes slower than we know they can, takes a 5 minute break on each loop to stop me from doing what i need to do and generally goes out there way to make life harder just so they can cut off and bring some back.

Every other single person who does that walk never goes over unless its exceptionally busy and if the manager tries to move them even though its not a walk thats been signed for they try to get the union involved.

Where do i go to lodge a complaint?

not here...Are you the driver? I bet their interpretation of van sharing with you, is also grounds for a grievance... 6 loops x 5 mins ea.= 30 mins meal relief/paid break(s): it's legal. "deliberately" how? if they cut off regularly and management know this then sounds normal workload needs reassessing...perhaps they need coaching or perhaps you have doorsteppers and runners as partners usually. Hey, what I'm trying to say is ask the union what you should do; if anything, to alleviate your personal beef more than anything...or why don't you ask to move if that unbearable, temporarily in order to see if the other drivers think that the someone is also "deliberately" slow and "generally goes out of their way to ..."
have you considered it may be that you are judging the someone by unfair standards...after all if you are the driver we all know the passenger carries the weight and needs more rest. admittedly the driver has more responsibility, safety and security and stress - but no need to have grievance with partners, surely? you want us to feel your pain but what about theirs...they don't want to go over, so what, they shouldn't have to...deal with it or let someone else (management/union) or would you feel like a bit of a snake mentioning your opinion...hmm?

Stoppages of less than 10 minutes are not counted as official break. I’ve read that somewhere, I’ll see if I can find it. So 6x5 minute stops are not a 30 minute break.

Van Shares ... Always a Nightmare. Very rare for a Pair to actually work well together, without Friction. We've got one that you'd think is Married, they get on so well. Yet we've got an actual couple in the Office who don't want to work together.

If there is a general feeling that No-One wants to work with this Guy, and you've exhausted the Unit Rep Scenario, have you got a HCT Duty that he could go on? :hmmmm Then he'd be Plodding around at his own pace, and not upsetting anyone. :thumbup

I don't really like working with anyone else .... But that's just because I'm Anti-Social. :cuppa

Could all 97.1% put in a mass grievance against CEO for abrogating, stalling and disrespecting workers terms and conditions re: industrial dispute/arbitration process and our union being included in the 5 year action plan, running the shares down and taking a disproportionate (10% of operating costs) golden hello with no consultation of shareholders...
probs not as it's "his company and he can do what he wants" and get away with it, legally.

What's your complaint?
Not liking the way someone does the job isn't a sound basis for a grievance.

I've had similar... delivering at a steady pace, return to the van only to be told 'slow down, you're working too fast'... fag break after fag break, idling for no known reason, popping to the shop after every loop... Then get the monk on when asked to complete another round. If you make a 5hr round last 6hrs you lose all rights to complain when you're asked to do an extra hour to complete your shift.

Not sure how that helps you though!
