What happens if your off sick on your rota week off !! Anybody shed any light on this.

Yeah just didn’t know if you could claim it back or what not it’s not a big problem was just after some advice thanks for the reply’s

If you're sick and don't declare you're fit for work before your due day /week off it's included as sick

As has been said, if you haven't declared yourself off the sick (i.e. fit to return on your next scheduled shift) then the entire week will be counted as part of your absence as are Sundays and normal rest days. Will you be able to claim your rest week back? Simple answer? No!

You can only claim it back if you were on annual week.

Day off / rotational week off dont count.
