Noticed today that someone started 15 mins early ....and then claimed 5 mins docket. Beggars belief. Can't say if they had their full break either.

The whole idea of National Gate meeting day is to prove to Royal Mail that although they got an injunction to prevent the CWU taking industrial action we are still as strong as ever and united as a membership. We have to show them that this dispute will not be won in court and that the only way to solve it will be to negotiate an agreement with a united union. So what if you have to use 20 min of your meal break it has to be worth it. We cannot allow this dispute to fizzle out. So support your union as you have been up to now.We cannot afford to lose this battle.

No gate meeting or any info at ours.

There was a stampede though when Dom announced there was a sheet for people to put there name on if they want to come in early or work their days off for the next 4 weeks. I thought there was a fire the amount of people running to get their names down.

Most of them were the loudest let's strike crowd and the moaners

No its actually the old timers on nice 4 day weeks or 9 day fortnights. Desperate to come in early and work their days off.
