Day back for bank holiday

I was on sick when we had september weekend monday off do i get that day back as day in lieu?my official day off that week was friday

You don't get bank Holidays back for being sick.

Yes you are entitled to it mate, it the equivalent of the August bank holiday in England. If your on the sick, you get paid sick pay therefore your word any holidays including bank holidays while on the sick that overlap. Go see you DOM/lino.

No you cannot be.. trust me if you are on sick and its a bh week you will NOT get a day in lieu back.

So if friday was your day off an you were on sick you expect to be paid which is correct but also want a lieu day for bh

Wasn't to sure how all that worked as haven't been sick during a bank holiday before, i was told if you are sick when your annual leave was due then you get your holidays back so was wondering if was same kinda thing
