2 questions;-

1. Why did you not take a break?

2. Surely you should know that you have to let a manager know that you may not be able to complete ? ( The number of posts indicate you are not new to the job ). Even if you are fairly new to it. have youu had any job where you can just say ' had enough for today' and go home ?

Not sure what you mean by ' relentless PDA actuals '

Well to be fair there are many jobs that once its your finishing time you go home

We are one of the few jobs you are expected to follow a whole process just to work the hours you are contracted to

You should have joined the Union mate ! We 're here for a reason ! Our Union Rep is well up to speed with "the cut-off procedure" details of which are affixed to our notice board.

Having said all this you are allowed to return to the delivery office ( for whatever reason) with, or without mail ! DOMs are under pressure also ( and many are trade union members like ourselves). . . . If it were me and I absolutely knew I had no chance of completing the job I would have informed the manager before I left the office ! If I considered , before I went out, that I had a chance of completing but then found out on the street that there was "no chance" I'd have phoned my manager as soon as reality set in ! ! !

What pension got saved then? The final salary one that closed years ago or the defined benefit one that closed the other year?
You better hope that if royal mail want rid of people and decide to go down compulsory last in first out route that those "old timers" are willing to fight to save the jobs of new boys. To be fair the attitude towards long serving people on here makes me think long serving people should think stuff em as long as we are alright

That happened to someone else, he boxed a whole street of mail in the neighbouring district thinking he could get away with it, the other office DOM contact his DOM, long and short of it....got sacked.

Not sure what you mean by ' relentless PDA actuals ' WALKING DUTY 1000hrs-1500hrs no break taken (OUT)...1530 LOG OUT END OF SHIFT (BREAK TAKEN IN.)

Sorry for not sounding sympathetic but you seem to have brought this upon yourself.
