Due to be on timely release from 1st November 2019 this film tells the story of a family where the main bread winners work within the gig economy. The father workers for a parcel delivery firm the mother in the care industry. It's worth searching out the preview on youtube and written reviews on various sites.

Definitely.

Kes (1969), Ladybird Ladybird (1994), and The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) are three of my favorite Loach films.

Yep, dear old Ken has made rather a lot of money out of his unwavering adherence to Left Wing principles and bleak depictions of those at the lower end of the social spectrum.

Not true, read a bit about his whole life before inaccurate comments. Real life in film.

What's not true?
Apparently he's worth $5million. Hardly the salary of the average Joe in RM.

That's not a salary though is it, it's a reflecttion of his 50 plus years in the film industry. Or to put it another way, the annual wage of an average Premier League footballer.

Poorly worded. What I meant was his apparent net worth is far above that which any RM employee could accrue in a lifetime.

Fair point.

Wonder if he'll stay in the UK if Jezza implements his proposals to "tax the rich", or whether his desire to keep hold of as much of his money as he can will overcome his socialist principles and make him move abroad?
