Do u have to cover at other offices??

I have been told there is no work for me at my office, do i have to go to another office?
Especially when we are double lapsing??

Unfortunately you are employed by royal mail and provided that they get you too and from the other office then yes they can send you but your start and finish time is from your office not the other office

And its up to them to get you to the other office and back on time, do not use your own car as I doubt you will be insured.

And fuel costs next they will send you 30 miles or 50 km away each day!

As long as the first words out of your mouth when you get to the other office are ''Hi, i'm XXXX ive been sent from XXXX I want to only work my hours and be back at my own office before my finishing time so I can take my break and sign out'

Then your day actually becomes less stressful than a day at your own DO - just dont rip the piss by going slow etc
