Signed for stuff from abroad

Do we still have to fill in the slip on the back of signed for items from abroad and take it back for the PHG to stamp? And they then send it back to the sender??

Never seen any sort of slip filled out on the back of a signed for from abroad being return. Just the required PINK sticker

What pink sticker? PHG told me we don't return them anymore! Only asking because I had one this morning and didn't fill it in. They're usually from France and have a flimsy piece of paper stuck to a plastic envelope on the back of the item.

Think I know what you mean, without a picture of one to look at, what are they meant for?

The pink sticker was an international RTS sticker.
I didn't know anyone used them any more.

Yes if you are following the rules then the pink RTS stickers are meant to be used on any item being returned to sender to other countries. The sticker is meant to be placed to cover the address and then put it the tray with the rest of the 'killed off' items of mail.
The, usually pink in colour, cards on the reverse of some international recorded or registered letters are still meant to be filled in by the 'recipient' with the date of delivery and their signature. The postie hands the pink card, also called an AD or AR card, into the callers office after it has been delivered. It is then ink stamped and dropped in the postbox with the rest of the mail.

He doesn't mean the return to sender stickers it's the ones that say AR on them they're annoying slips of paper in a plastic sleeve on the back of items and you got the customer to sign them as well then handed them in to the Phg to send back to France or wherever so the sender knew the item has been delivered,anyway as the foreign sender can just check on RM's track and trace these days I'd say this is a bit out of date now.

It does make me wonder if in France if they don't use PDAs to scan their equivalent of recorded/signed for
