letter to allan

Post by dinho1 »

hello allan , i am a postman in the midlands and i am confused no bewildered at the later deliveries we are doing.
firstly i know about the 56mph restrictions but to be honest on minor roads how many lorries did 56mph and above? none and why ? because of normal speed restrictions ie 40mph 30 mph 50 mph. this is a very lame excuse to alter the what was early rising postman. i remember delivering mail when the milkman was out and the paper boy sorting his papers out in the shop. now i am delivering still when the paperboy is doing his evening paper. and as for abuse from customers who are livid that there post is arriving after they finish work is beyond belief!! this needs addressing properly allan as this will be your downfall. dhl tnt and all the others have cottoned on to us starting later and as a result are doing what we should have been doing and that is giving the public there mail BEFORE THEY GO TO WORK . do you ever wonder why buisnesses are changing to our rivals? well there is your answer . because they are doing the job in the morning and not in the afternoon.
and just off the record allan and i hope you reply to this . your personal home address what time does the mail get there?

one last thing , when the postmen and women start getting signs of skin cancer due to the afternoon sun in the summer , will RM be liable under H&S

yours over worked and under paid

Pointless letter. Fulfilling the agenda far outweighs upsetting a few members of the public. The uk and western masses are so apathetic to virtually every issue that nowt will happen anyhow.
The new world order is approaching, RM is just a tiny part of the jigsaw.

Perhaps calling the letter pointless was a bit forthright, but given the logic of your argument I would say that dinho should not expect a reply.

Lets face it Crozier and Leighton dont give a s**t about what happens to the RM. Whether we strike or not doesnt matter to them, they will still award themselves huge bonuses. The worst that can happen to them is they get a big fat payoff cheque, which is hardly penalizing them. There should be some law passed that means that they are personally liable when the post screws up, something that would actually hurt them ie a big hole in thier wallets. Til then dont expect any kind of reasonable deal. Who will cave in first, the postman with a mortgage and children to support losing money hand over fist due to strike action, or Crozier sitting in Crozier towers sipping cocktails and using fifty pound notes to stoke his fire. There must be a solution, to every problem thier IS supposed to be one.... waiting for the CWU to sort this out is obviously a waste of time though and going to that fat pillock running government wont achieve anything either :cry

got a reply !!!!!

Hi *****

Tnx for the email. I realise that the change to start times may not be
popular with all our people but we are committed to doing what we can to
support them through this change. We will listen to and work with anyone
who has genuine difficulties with the new start times to find a solution,
wherever possible.

Our people are provided with sunhats and sun cream where requested during
summer months. We will continue in our duty of care as a responsible
employer taking best practise from the many other industries whose people
work outside for large portions of the day.

Kind Regards

Still using text like fifteen year old chav hanging around the chip shop at night because he's trying to be your mate, and still using that annoying "our people" crap to try to convince you he has some thought for us all and actually cares about us.
Actually "our people" are not provided with sun hats or cream as "our H&S Rep" has been asking for them for the last two summers to my certain knowledge and has been told there are none to be had. Pity he didn't mention drinks being sent out to "our people" as on hot days, it is impossible for us to carry enough liquid to see us through a three and a half delivery and we don't all have shops on our deliveries.
All in all, he's got no idea of how we go about our work. But why should he? He's never done a honest days work in his worthless life unlike those labour he has lived off like the parasite he is.

Clueless, out of touch. what an arsehole. he completely ignored the point the guy made about rivals and early deliveries. why? cos he couldnt give a dam. roll on the no vote.
