Forms should be sent to The Organising Secretary, CWU House, 150 The Broadway, Wimbledon, SW19 1RX

its worth remembering that the title to your post is a little untrue because the form withdraws you from the WHOLE POLITICAL FUND and not just the section that may go to the labour party.

I don't blame anyone for taking this action as it is the only immediate way to get back at Labour but i feel that unions need political funds.

My stance on this has been to propose a motion to withdraw from labour party that will go to Conference in June

You're right there mate. Labour have gone to war more times in the last ten years than the other shower of s**t did in the previous eighteen. They've closed four schools and a hospital down where I live. The gap between rich and poor is greater than it was ten years ago, and they've appointed one of their members, Allan Leighton to run us into the ground. The Labour Party deserted the working class, and the working class have reciprocated.

You recommend any party we can vote for Tman? I may be wrong but there seems to be an element of sour grapes to your post? Are you a closet liebour voter who don't know where to turn? I don't know what the answer IS, but I know that not voting, or not voting for Labour on the grounds that "they don't do us any good" etc etc is even more wrong.
YOU may not like how the country's been run for the last ten years (although many do seem satisfied; the labour standing in the polls after ten years is at a standard Maggie could only dream of) but allowing the Tory scourge back in to wreak further havoc would be criminally naive.
That's the irony; the most right-wing Labour government ever has done more for the working man than Foot, Heffer, Kier Hardy, Benn, the SWP, Communist Party and all the other assorted tw*ts combined.
I well remember 15% interest rates, 18 month+ hospital waiting lists, 4000000 unemployed, Matrix Churchill, Westland, GCHQ and the rest, and have no wish to return to that just because Sun-reading sheep have such short memories.

The stuff New Liebour did for the working man was mostly from the EEC Social Chapter which Major opted out of , I was invited to the meeting at Wigan which that dwarf Mc Cartney spoke at , yeah ! it was a vast improvement from Major's days but New Liebour didn't exactly shout it from the rooftops & it was a very watered down version of it due to pressure from the CBI .

The worst Labour Government is better than the best Tory one but that's about it . I left Liebour as soon as I'd read Byers had deliberately put :lfo in to sort the CWU out . B-Liar would have tried that on a lot earlier only for infighting & a backbench revolt .
