Has anyone delivered the Survey Results Mailing this month.

Last year it was sent out in June. I did see a brief mention in WTLL last week regarding the results.

Survey Mailing

Post by Celgar »

I haven't seen an official results mailing for the national survey. Our office was on the trial for doing the survey via the internet rather than via the postal system. As a side comment doesn't RM attempting this go against their promotion of businesses using the postal system rather than the internet?
Anyway the internet trial wasn't a success in our DO as we usually get everyone to respond but not everyone did so we can't access any comments given via the survey for our individual DO results. One postie in our office entered the survey three times to check the question format on bullying which had been substantially changed compared to previous years. This may or may not be due to the increase in managerial B&H reported on this forum. The survey scores we could access for questions regarding our own DO were good as usual with no significant problems to sort out. We have been asked to think of anything that could be changed or done in our DO to make it better. The scores for how we feel about how RM is run and other issues that are beyond our control were quite poor but that was to be expected. The staff in our DO, as I suspect most posties feel, regarding the executives and top bods is that they couldn't run a **** up in a brewery!! No change there.

Rumour is the Courier are sending people to our office next week to do an article on us. I for one do not intend to appear as one of the posties in the courier saying everything is great in RM. I still enjoy the job but every part of the business is still run very badly with far to much emphasis on cost cutting and no attempt to improve the business whatsoever!! No chance of them printing what I have to say methinks.

Thought a big issue in your office was not getting paid for OT/having to work for free?

That issue is the one sticking point I agree but other than that the DO is largely okay as regards things we can act on.

RMtv 3rd June stated The group engagement score was the 60 - up one point. Culture Index (53)& Customer Focus Index (70) Scores were unchanged.

As someone who decided to opt out of completing the EOS this year I was interested to see if the percentage of employees who took part in the survey had continued the 1% fall of the previous 3 years.

Received survey results mailing today. I have questioned my line manager why the number of employees who completed this years survey on our shift was identical to the previous year despite the fact that at least 6 fewer declined which should have reduced the percentage from 84% to 75%.
Can anyone confirm if returned sealed envelopes containing uncompleted forms are counted?

I can answer my own question.
As a result of once more asking my line manager he confirmed the shift manager had displayed last years results by mistake.
So the actual number of employees on our shift who filled in the EOS was 55% (33) - this equates to 45% (27) who did not.
