Official Finish Time?

We have been moved to a 3pm finish time (against our wishes).
Just out of curiosity what is your offices official finish time?

Ours is 1435 for town duties and 1505 for rural duties.

We've had a 3pm finish time in my office for nearly 9 years. Dom wants it pushing back further if he can get it.

Allegedly due to "pipeline" changes. Said they couldn't get our 2nd mech to us early enough. However since these so called changes we have been getting the 2nd mech earlier than before the changes. 8.20am has been the latest its arrived in over 3 weeks.

Might be some DOs covered by your local MC getting their second wave of mech as walk sort instead of walk sequenced. Wouldn't surprise me to see all wave 2 for every DO be just walk sort within the next couple of years

Our finish times are different each day. I can't remember the time for each day offhand but today's finish time was 1333.
One of the main plus points if not the only one has always been the duty times ending in the early afternoon. With RM seemingly attempting to push the duty start times later & the CWU making us later with the SWW it makes posties lives more difficult if they have other commitments.

Also means people are less likely to want to work past there finishing time so therefore more cut offs.

AFAIK there is still a 4pm last letter rule on rurals so I'd have a word with the union. Might get somewhere or they may just roll over and have the Dom tickle their.......
