October's 1 hour reduction

Union have gone very quiet over this , I’m hearing Royal Mail want to link the reduction in hours with the announcement they made last week regarding the changes they want to make.

Last we heard from our DOM about this on a shop floor talk , was that RM and the CWU where still bickering about this down London.

There hasn't been any reduction in work to justify the two lots of twelve minutes that have already been implemented. It's only union officials that seem to like the SWW although I'm not entirely sure why.

With the 12 minutes before and after the 1 October you will walk 24 minutes less because all the big packets parcels you will not do!

there’s plans to collapse one in 6 walks so you’ll be getting more work, not less.

Except for the extra 1/6th of a delivery you will get added after they collapse 1 in every 6 walks...

it's best that every postie who uses a PDA remembers that these things have been gathering data for 15 months now, so the proof is there as to whether time exists or not. I don't think we should joke that management dont know what to do with it, i think they will be told.

When the plan is do drop one in 6 walks, we will not be expected to do 1/6th extra of a round, it will be 1/5th as there will be 5 people left to cover that round.

The only thing that you care about is the work if you all thought about your contractual hours ie Start finish times and took your meal relief they can do what they want add 500 drops so what if you don't have the time to do it bring it back some people on here are so thick you would think they are managers your job is to do not to make it happen. Even if if falls flat on it's face the job or duty is not yours you are contractually obligated to do xx.xx till xx.xx after that they can do it themselves and earn their bonus which is pensionable we are not there to make it so!
