Monday to Friday working when the competition is doing seven day till 10pm or later ? Doubt it very much , it's a race to the bottom and with the new starters on contracts saying five day working over seven. They're going to get shafted as the old contractors , leave , retire or get IHR'd.

Democratic vote eh? We had one to work less Saturdays but it never happened as the Union made out that we would lose too many jobs. Total b*llocks of course because we tend to lapse more duties on Saturdays but I only get 1 in 6 Saturdays off.

Other couriers aren’t delivering letters and d2ds seven days a week though are they ? In my opinion Royal Mail should go to 7 days a week but only deliver specials and tracked items at the weekend . All depending on the uso being changed.

Well it happens in my office , I get 1 in 4 off so your local rep can’t be very good.
