Yes, there are quite effective ways of dealing with bullying and harrassment. First, the official way:
1) Ask them to stop.
2) If it doesn't stop, tell your manager, who will initiate the Bullying and Harrassment Procedure (he/she will tell you the remaining steps).

Personally, I found this way effective (both times):
1) Ask them to stop.
2) Ask your manager (if it's a collegue) or Union Rep (if it's a manager) to have a quiet word with whoever is bothering you, off the record.

There have been some very serious cases over the last few years, which have been dealt with very effectively with the official Bullying and Harrassment Procedure. I just prefer to deal with things off the record personally, as it's easier to build bridges afterwards, if you can avoid getting anyone into trouble. Besides, you can always use the official method, if you can't sort it informally.

I hope this helps.

Would also suggest you read in full the Royal Mail Bullying & Harassment Policy which you should find on the CWU website.

Two threads on the same subject, use the one in the Union Room.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
