Xmas bonus to be reduced due to taking industrial action?

The best part is, they will never know! My line "manager" is a twat any-way.

the xmas bonus has f all to do with the dispute..its just another piss take from those at the top..you turning a blind eye to this as well mr hayes

The christmas bonus of £100 is payable based on the two weeks of christmas pressure. If a part-timer does full time hours at the pressure they are payed the full bonus. If an office takes IA during the two week pressure is the only time they lose money from the bonus. The other 50 weeks of the year do not count.

treat weaker offices,(one,s with no rep/or ones who accept everything).

It is really scary what is actually imposed.For those weaker offices try and sort out a rep.
It is a bit idealistic,but in the long run it will work.
Yes there will be long un-paid time sorting out national issue's
Please stick with it.
This new deal will single handedly pick off the weaker offices and than
isolate the strong one's.Take all the time available to come up with a rep and a deputy.

According to a Xmas pay arrangement notice which is up on a DO notice board, our £100 Xmas bonus will be reduced as follows:

3% for every day of official action or 10% for every day of unofficial action, done by unit, so you lose out even if you decided to work or were on holiday.

I have asked again if its correct and I was told it was on their official notice board in their office today.

Reason why I have delayed in posting this, is because I would have thought something like this would be on here already.

Has anyone else heard if this is correct or not? If it is, then RM have shot themselves in the foot regarding securing a 'yes' vote now... I would have thought.

If people chose to work while we were on Strike, then I have no sympathy for them if they loose out on some of the Bonus. If however, someone had leave booked before the Strike dates were announced. They can't take any money off them, as they were on Annual Leave. This includes Bonus's.

If they do, try to take any money off those who were on leave. They need to contact their Reps, who will get the money returned ASAP. As for those who crossed the lines.... Tough, you get nowt, as no-one will fight your cause with the management!

Well said mate. It is about time some of the people that shout that they have bad managers or their office gets picked on because they have no rep, as well as shouting on here get yourselves appointed as reps and try and make a diffrence. It aint easy but don't knock people who do it if you aint done it. Remember reps are volunteers who don't get additional pay for doing the job.

im not surprised that our xmas bonus has got a lot smaller..in fact i wasnt even expecting a bonus this year..
i knew they would get out of not giving us as much,blaming it on the strikes...

we,re the ones who earn the management thier bonus,while we dont get f**k all,why should xmas be any different..f**k we dont even get our box of minature heroes any more ..remember when we got them..

next year they will do away with giving us our stamps..probably blame it on something or other..sod thier bonus and stamps..lets hope leighton and crozier end up getting 2 of the dodgy turkeys that slipped through the bird flu net..

The standard £100 xmas bonus for ALL FT staff and pro rata for PT came in with either the 04 or 05 pay deal.

It is only abated for action taken at xmas not through the year!!
