Bank holiday during annual leave

Do you get the day back if a bank holiday falls during your annual leave, I know you do if it's your day off but unsure about annual leave.

Yes , leave done in hours now so they wouldn’t subtract the hours for the bank holiday .

Should already be put in on your annual leave sheet.

No, you would have only booked the other days that week as annual leave, not the full week.
Claiming back a bank holiday either as overtime or a day in leiu only applies if it falls on your day off, nothing to do with annual leave.

While you don't get a day back as such, you do however only need to use up the hrs for that week, minus your scheduled day off, and the bank holiday.

We don't do our annual leave in hours at our place, far too complicated!

Every office (MCs, RDCs, DOs, etc) do the annual leave in hours. Whoever deals with PSP at your office is converting days into hours as PSP does it in hours

We only started doing leave in hours last year 5 or 6 years behind most other offices. so i presume it will be in your office soon.

All offices have been doing it in hours for a few years but it's only just came to light with the demise of the ManPowerPlan (MPP). We used to get our leave cards printed by MPP but now they print off in PSP which shows it in hours.

Obviously all offices are not if smileski office is still doing days
