Hi I am now at appeal status following a grievance with 2nd line manager not upheld.
My worry is the 5-42 days for the employer to hear my appeal are almost up, I have had no formal notification other than 30’odd days ago when I rang HR to ask for an appeal.
The HR person I spoke to allocated an appeals manager, and said they would be in touch.

I know its not much help but this really boils my piss 
, I think they do this ( string it out ) so posties just think oh forget it I cant be bothered to chase it up , the whole grievance / b&h procedure should be taken outside of royal mail because this is why managers do what they do and get away with it , it should be an independent body ACAS for example to deal with , stick with it

They are doing this on purpose so that if you was to take it further you would probably be too late to lodge an ET claim.

Grievance appeal advice.
Contact ACAS and register your possible Employment Tribunal, and the contact HR and advise them of this. They are hoping the 3-month rule will be missed and that then you can't take it any further.
It may also encourage some action from Royal Mail as well.

Can I go above my manager to cut my hours as he isn't keeping me in touch at all.
