Payslip Deduction?

Post by J_FD »

Hi guys,

Been with RM coming up 6 months now and no problem with pay so far... however my current payslip has just come through and I’ve been deducted £14.38 for “PSE Adj RMDCP MIN”.

Anyone got any idea what this is?

I’m on 27.5 hours per week.

Thanks!

Payslip Deduction?

The pension deduction is a % from your BASIC pay: PSE is Pension Salary Exchange which means you pay less National Insurance.

The DC website - https://rmdcp.uk/home" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - explains;
We'll write to you when you’re eligible to join the Royal Mail Defined Contribution Plan (RMDCP). You don’t need to do anything. You’ll automatically start saving 5% into your pension pot, and Royal Mail will automatically start paying in 3%.

After you’ve worked for Royal Mail for 12 months, you will automatically start saving 6%, Royal Mail will add 10%. You can choose to save less. If you do, Royal Mail will add less too.
