Part day absence

Booked out sick , feeling absolutely rotten , vomiting etc but was ok next day and returned to work , I worked 2hrs , is it recorded as absence as I am on stage 1 , ?

I think you need to have done half your shift for it not to be counted

There is no specific length of time that you need to work in order for it to be considered a part day absence.

It is only counted if you do not return to work the following day or if you have already been counselled on the number of part-day absences and warned that any future part-day absences will be considered.

Generally part day absences are not counted towards the attendance process unless you do not resume work the following day and if you have a pattern or trend of part day absences in which case they would be considered
