Change to start time

Been on holiday for a week back tomorrow unfortunately but been told by 2 colleagues in separate conversations that my start time has changed. To be honest I’m past caring as this is the 3rd time this has happened twice in 6 months but can somebody tell me if it’s 21 or 28 days notice they need to give you? Thanks for your help

so what time do you start tomorrow if you have'nt been told if your time has changed.

Il be going in to start at my current starting time that I know. I’m expecting to be told my times changed I just want to clarify the notice period before I start an argument when I might be wrong

Get onto your rep/area rep ASAP and get a disagreement in. That'll piss on their chips for a few weeks.

my start time keeps getting put back by 10 to 15 mins most days.
i'm texted every day with my start time, joy

This can't be right, surely? Have a word with your rep and get this sorted ASAP. Start and finish times are in your contract and that's what they are. It's up to you if you want to show willing and go in earlier if requested but, despite what management seem to think, you're not obliged to.

Texting you a start time in the morning is, quite frankly, taking the piss.

Personally I'd tell them I didn't see the text and go in at the time it says on my contract.

it's not only me that he's doing it to. part time duties getting pushed back so others get the early overtime every day & we're out later than our contract hours
double d2ds in the frame most days & people on the same hrs to me start earlier than i do on some. duties prepped on overtime on overtime by others or by the manager.
Not sure the union could grasp this one
