Later finishes for all offices

What time do offices finish or told they will finish?

Area sector manager bloke had a office meeting today and everyone was told we are to finish at 1500 from next month and it is a National thing, this was agreed in the National agreement which raised a few shall we say eyebrows

I take it it is in the agreement somewhere, people are not happy

we've been 1500 finish since 2010!! I thought ALL offices were. what time is your current finish?

Our finish time is 15.15 Weds Thurs 15.10 Fri doesn't give people who have to pick kids up from school any time to spare

Our finish times vary between 1330 and 1430, depending on the day.

between 1300 and 1400 here, in fact weve just changed our times and 1500 hasnt been mentioned.

finish times vary in our office 2.45 mon, wed, thur ,fri, 2.00 tues . sat 2.00 some of your offices must be starting later than our office, 6.42 mon and sat. 6.57 for the rest,
when the weekly hours worked falls to 37 hrs in October ,we are adding it to a later start so about 12 mins later start each day on so on year on year until the 35hrs is reached this will be close to the 8.00 start that the management wanted but the union didn't, just shows that royal mail seem to get what they want at the end of the day.

1500 finish everyday?

Only on a "long" Wednesday currently with a 0630/0642 start.

Would mean an 0800/0812 start on a "short" Tuesday and Friday, with 0730/0742 Monday and Thursday, plus 0700/0712 on Saturday.

ours last year had the very clever idea of p/t staff finishing 10/20 minutes BEFORE their paired f't partner

Mostly currently 1400 although a few are 1330 and 1500 already.

Union were very erm silent on this letting the sector bloke just waffle on and on

The lies we are told eh? Our office finishes at 14.35 every day except Saturday. We were told that this was a national thing. We do have a different start time practically every day though.

We are 1600 on a Weds/Thursday! 8am start for most.
