Err No.
Any Vr's will be offered out firstly to the old timers so unless there going to cut 100 people from your craphole then you should be fine.

The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

They can’t offer them to the old timers first, that would be age discrimination. Everyone is able to apply for Voluntary Redundancy from 2 years service onwards.General Mannerheim wrote:Err No.

Voluntary Redundancy is offered on a seniority basis, so would only filter down to newer employees if the older ones declined, which is probably unlikely.
Early Voluntary Retirement is also a form of redundancy done on seniority, in which you get your pension paid out on an enhanced basis. It's only offered to the over 55's and if it's total cost to the business is less than 104 weeks pay.

As far as I know the terms of VR & EVR come under MTSF, and Dingo informed us during the 4 Pillars negotiations that MTSF wasn't under review as part of that.
The RMPP is still open(although not to future accrual) and were now building up a pot of money to fund our lump sum via the DBCBS. I would have thought that when CDC comes in and the RMPP closes altogether, then EVR would go.
But there does seem to be some confusion, which I think needs to be addressed officially!

My mistake, I thought the the op was talking about vr as in voluntary redundancy. Not evr as in early voluntary retirement. They’re two totally different things therefore different rules apply to both.deltaforce wrote:Not done on age but on length of service, plus it's normally voluntary as in Evr Early voluntary retirement
