Royal Mail provide a new entrant 22.5 days holiday leave a year on commencement of employment, the minimum amount of holiday leave that an employer must provide in the uk at the moment is 28 days, therefore Royal Mail include Bank Holidays as part of your statutory holiday entitlement. As the law states that you can’t be sick and on holiday at the same time, then it must be credited back to you.

Apologies, in actual fact on further reading this may be open to contradiction.

However I would still argue the case that it forms part of your statutory holiday.

You get all leave and bank holidays back. Every workplace does the same, not just RM.
