Apparently, RM is looking into a new O/T roster to address fairness in the workplace, revising part-timers’ requests to increase their hours, updating relocation and family friendly procedures, aiming for realistic workloads for everyone and rewarding all those who might want to progress their careers within the company & eradicating B&H from the workplace.

There are numerous issues that need to be addressed for this to work but moaning is not going to fix it. We need to look into problems 1 by 1 and plan for the best possible outcome for everyone, which is no other than get our s**t together and start working in solutions that are good for everyone and not just for a few. Only if we work alongside, we can build a better future from now on.

Creating a new workplace where everyone does his bit and get compensated for it, working together for a best RM and CWU where everyone feels proud of working for what they do.

Do we want a workplace where we get compensated for showing professionalism doing our bit for the community, where we would like to be in, where everyday you back home happy?

Would you like to be in?

It is an odd first post.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Every first post is odd.
Every second post is even.
That's kind of how numbers work.

For an even post it is still distinctly odd.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I would say that the even post is odder than the odd post.

If you local rep is crap, why hasn't anyone put there name down to become the new rep and/or called for a vote of no confidence in the rep? How many come in early for free, run round the walk, don't take their breaks, don't use the equipment that they're supposed to, etc?

Agreed ,a management joke . Failed to protect members from every agreement infraction and actively promoted the s**t pension change that opened the way for Management parasites to go for compulsory redundancies .
