People coming in for free?

I’m not talking about 20 minutes or half hour, I’m talking 4am in the morning when official start times are not TIL 6.30. Obviously manager turns blind eye,. It doesn’t affect me so much as I’m full time, but there’s at least 7 hours a day here that are not going to part timers who coulld use the money. Is there anything that can be done. Union isn’t interested

How do you know union are not interested maybe the idiots who do it are not interested in unions advice.

We got a guy comes in early every day at about 6, but first lorry doesn’t come in now till about 6.30. Think he clears up the office trays and throws off d2ds and stuff. Asked him why he says he helps out for free because manager lets him finish early and go home early on a Saturday, like nobody else can?’ Lol think he goes to bed at about 7.30 and gets up at 4am, he’s pretty stuck in his ways, like he’s got nothing else to do other than work. FairPlay to him though he’s happy doing what he does.

That's a few hours that either the DOM or higher up have the scope to remove out of the office

Apparently no!
It’s their choice and they should never be chastised or discouraged, a form of bullying seemingly by others on site.
