I've been wearing long socks with shorts recently but have been told they're banned as no personal clothing should be visible. In that case what sock can be worn with shorts that would be invisible? Madness.

Im guessing your either wearing garishly patterned/ colored socks or football socks?
As there is no way you would be pulled up if they were plain black/dark

That can't be right, loads in our office wear their own clothing hoodies/jumpers etc

Some of the younger youths in our office often have their underpants visible.

Unless Royal Mail provide socks you can wear what you want.
RM underpants fall to bit's with one fart just like the new Waterproof jackets and the pockets in the trousers/shorts still the socks could be used as mittens in the winter?
