Unused holidays

I may be in line for getting a new job and I'm owed 2-3 weeks in lue from the past two years. What happens to those if I do get another job?

Unless you have had it authorised to carry extra days over then you can only carry over 5 days into the next year so any more than that will have been lost. So you will be owed whatever you haven’t taken this year pro rata plus those 5 days if they were carried over properly

Have never got days carried over authorised just carry them over. also know of staff who have weeks of untaken leave.

You don’t lose holidays, they get carried over authorised or not

We can only carry over 5 days into the next leave year. anything more that isn't authorised is lost.

How can you lose your own leave?? i take it your manager has granted all the leave you have applied for.
