Employers are responsible for preventing bullying and harassment - they’re liable for any harassment suffered by their employees
So why are these problem not getting sorted out
If a postman was accused of bullying there feet wouldn't touch the ground.
Should be the same for management

Yeh, they just continue to take the piss and string the members along, grind it out and apathy sets in then carry on as usual with a disillusioned staff at the Unions failure to stand up for its members. A shameful disgrace in reality.Yamr1 wrote:Probly promised mediators like Falkirk and Hamilton....

bad managers are costing the business millions,
Bullying at work
Causes all sorts if problems.
Sickness absence due to stress, anxiety
and depression.
Poor morale in the workplace.
Loss of productivity and poor
performance.
Staff turnover and the associated
recruitment costs.
Damage to the company’s reputation.
Potential tribunal cases
After a strike they put the same mangers that are accused of bulling back into the same office
Bloody unreal
Send them home garden leave and if found guilty then instantly dismissed

Royalmail has zero tolerance approach to bullying and harrasment, so long as it isn't a Manager who is accused

Every year you hear of a change in culture from the CWU heirarchy. Bullying and harassment has been going on for years. From 2009 to 2011 I was a VICTIM of this from management and continued to witness it until I retired in 2015.
My belief is that the only way to ensure a change in culture and to witness some action from CWU Officials is for ALL staff to withdraw payment of their union contributions until such time as the CWU can provide written guarantees from the Chief Executive that any complaints made by an office are investigated immediately and a written response from The Executive to the staff at the office concerned be provided within 10 working days. Where it is concluded that a Manager is at fault, that Manager is relieved of his position with immediate effect and demoted for a period of at least one year before being able to apply for that position again. This should be posted on all notice boards in the Office in order that lower management are in no doubt about the repercussions of failing to work within RM/CWU agreements , health and safety and the welfare of the staff they manage.

Yes enjoying retirement Aiden. The legs have just started to recover.
It was wishful thinking. RM are the absolute pits when it comes to employee fairness and applying their disciplinary procedures. I really enjoyed the work but if anyone was asking me whether they would recommend them as a company to work for, I would tell them to not touch them even with a barge pole. I assume that since the wild Canadian Bird took flight nothing has changed with the introduction of the high flying Dutchman or is he Swiss?
