Getting rid of staff

So no longer are they doing coaching and counselling for experienced postman, ie postman on higher wages than ones coming in the door, now its straight to conduct for missing a tracked item, 2nd chance out the door, its a disgrace the way they are treating long term members of staff, all these rumours that the company want all us higher earners out the door are all coming true, using petty complaints an excuse to get the wage bill down, we know the union are non existant, this sums up that royal mail and amazon are getting more alike everyday

They have their own procedures, so if the 3 C’s are followed, it’s a grievance against the manager and union involved.

What evidence do you have to support this action against senior men?

Surely a senior postman gets paid the same as a relatively new start,,, after 12 months anyway,, and I doubt they want to turn staff around that quuck

Just do the job properly especially when it comes to SDs, tracked, and recorded items and you can't go wrong. It's not rocket science - just be careful out there.

its no me doing the job properly that's the worry, if ur partner mucks up then you can still get the blame for their mistakes , its a corrupt system, one guy in my office partner lost a special but the guy who signed for the special in the morning was the one that got conducted not the one who lost it, systems upside down, you could technically get sacked for other peoples mistakes, as for the idiot that just said to me stop rushing around, I do a 6 hour delivery up in Scotland 16 miles a day and have no energy to run round your probably in London doing 3 hours max so you have energy to run, bit different up North we are being shafted something awful, been rolled out in Scotland last 2 years , don't worry it will get to England at some point and then you will have something to moan about,

What are you talking SHITE for. He never said anything had about England. I know as an ex Glasgow plague what he's talking about but the walks in England are just as bad. It's just that we have more closed which are a bastard.
