Am i in the clear ?

In van going back to office,mobile speed unit parked up don't think I slowed down in time,29 bloody years ive been driving and never been done before,somebody said with it being works vechicle it can take up to a month to receive fine,on line it says up to 14 days.it happened 16 days ago,am I ok or have I got another couple of weeks checking the frame at work

Don't worry 14 days max .what speed were you doing in what zone?

I was doing something in between 50 to 60 on a fifty zone with some copper in a hi Viz on a bridge and received nothing

AFAIK it's 14 days to notify the registered keeper, in your case Royal Mail. That'd then trickle down to your office to ID the driver, which may take a few extra days. If you don't hear anything by end of next week I'd say your in the clear.

How do you know it's the end of next week I thought it was 28 days

30 zone was doing 38 max,didnt see the parked up van until the last minute,guess I will just have to wait and see

Happened to a guy in our office. By the time they got it down to who was driving, it was the last day for him to pay the fine before it doubled (bus lane infringement). He had to go straight to a post office and pay it.

The best bit if your on park and loop and the passenger same wages and your licence is safe and less responsibility its a no brainer

In my previous job it took over a month to come through. Ticket went to the lease vehicle owners, then to my company, then to me. To be safe, if you’ve not heard by the end of February, you “should” be ok

You should be done. What if the police van that you didn't see until the last minute was a kid. They wouldn't stand a chance and you were obviously driving in a built up area of the speed limit 30. No mate you deserve to get points at least. It's not as if your one of two mph over your 24% over the limit.

You are correct. 14 days for the law to notify the registered keeper, who then has 28 days to inform them who was driving. My guess is, that as the 14 days has passed, if Royal Mail have been informed, word should quickly filter down to the OP's DOM(and the OP!) the paperwork is incoming. Surely Royal Mail is quick to act with things like this?
