Be positive.
Be brilliant.
Be part of it.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

what a waste of time, the culture will never change , do the cwu think that there going to get much out of these visits when most posties dont even have time to go for a piss never mind sat having a meeting and a chat , so all the offices that aren't lucky enough to get a visit how would they have there say ? as we are a communication union aren't we.

Bet your bottom dollar it's another box-ticking exercise , Terry used the wrong terminology in saying
"bad sites from good sites"he should have said " bad MANAGEMENT and bad MANAGEMENT practices "
nothing will change long term because RM wont spend time or MONEY retraining bad managers.

I can bet you a £ to a pinch of shite that if they visit our office, it’ll be selected few who get spoken to.

Same as when the auditors come in, mail held back, Porter put in place for the day, sortings done on time (or early) and the next day we’re back in the mess.

Same as this tick box exercise I suspect, only the “good offices” will be visited and everything will look lovely

Thanks for ranting at me Terry, if only you had mentioned the words "bullying and harassment" instead of hiding behind management speak, I may have thought you were serious about the issue. No one has asked for the workplace to be like a nursery, so interesting that you mentioned it.

It will be like Blackadder Goes Forth with General Melchett visiting the troops.

This fella off his rocker, I have little confidence in him or his CWU Reps getting anywhere.
I don’t believe high management in RM give a f..k about his views or agenda & will continue in the same light as they are now.
The bullying is shocking, often given by managers unable to have an intelligent conversation.
Yet those managers are continually allowed to do so, even after being found guilty of offence.

Sort Annual Leave. Make Overrunning non-confrontational. Pay overtime worked where agreed beforehand. Expect compliance with your rules to add time to a postie’s day.

Real simple stuff.

The delivery adjacent to ours finishes 2 hours + every day before us and they come and find us to give us a wave on the way home. Stop this behavior and I will let my son apply!!

Questions
Please use this document to give the context and reason for your visit.
Q1. Do you enjoy a work experience which you would be comfortable and proud for your own children, friends or relatives to work in? Why is that the case? (The core purpose of the exercise is to understand the answer to this question).
Below is a suggested set of further questions to guide the conversation. It is not intended to be prescriptive or exhaustive, just some ideas to prompt the discussion;

Q2. Have you seen any cultural change in this unit since the 2018 Agreement was launched?

Q3. What is good about working here – what would you say is positive about ways of working and relationships?

Q4. What would you like to see changed or improved? What are the challenges in ways of working / relationships? What can you do locally together to overcome these challenges?
