PDAs actuals

Hello does anyone on here know how pda timings etc are recoreded and can postmen view the data
We at this office are trying to use them to stop flexing of duties but have been told postmen grades aren't allowed to view records

Both reps and management have been trained in their use, it is supposed to be a joint approach, so employees or their representatives have a right to see them.

In cases of park&loop consent from both parties is required.

you can look at your own data , but your rep / dim can look at everybodys data , but I bet the dims aren't looking at the data to make sure theres no early finishes and making sure posties are working there full paid hours or to even duties up .

I woulnd't be surprised if their bosses are looking at the data to see which DOs they can squeeze more hours out of

Our office trialled pda actual last summer. It did not go well. I get the principle of it, but whilst long time serving staff members work the system, it won’t work. Walks that came back at 1pm every day at the latest beforehand, then came back at 2:15 every day. Nothing was said or done
Over Xmas period, the pda actuals were dropped, it went back to job & finish, and still have not been put back in again. The same walks are getting backby 1 every day

As soon as they start getting measured for delivery time, they’ll stay out til 2:15 again. That way they think they won’t get anything added to their walks

However from what I’ve read about pda actuals, it’s to measure the delivery time, checks stationary time out on delivery and can help balance walks that are lighter, with walks that are heavier

But our office has been told, they can’t access the data without permission from staff, so all they can do is see what time you leave and when you come back. I’m not sure how true that is
