Voting a new Rep

Could anyone advise on the procedure or principle of voting for a new union rep? Ours has lost the office and appears to be taking a backhander

all it needs is someone whos willing to take it on and fill a form out with a couple of members to sign it to go against the last rep . then it will come down to the office members to vote on who they want .

When a rep is elected it is for 2 years I think.
If you want to remove your rep within that time you would have to organise a vote of no confidence.

If you're going to organise a vote of no confidence stick to the facts, don't make unfounded accusations. Most of the time they're just office bullshit anyway.

You'll need to contact your branch who will probably side with the incumbent so you'll need to be sure that those dissatisfied with the rep don't just stare at their shoes when/if the branch send someone through to see what the deal is.
