Have applied for a job role within the company which requires me to travel to London for an assessment. I will be getting the train from Norwich to London and also will be needing to park my car for the day either at the station or nearest car park. Altogether it's around £70 for the trip.
When i travel to other offices i pass on my mileage to my manager and i get paid for it. If i'm able to claim, can this be done in the same way or do i need to go through someone else?

I very much doubt you’ll get that back. It’s a personal choice to travel after applying, they aren’t askimg you to go to a different office.
It’s like going to an interview for a new company, would RM pay for that?

The letter advising you of the assessment should say whether you can or not, however, a rule of thumb if its an internal recruitment position then you probably can, but if its an external recruitment job, and you just happen to already be an employee then in most cases you wouldn't be able to claim.
