how many day/weeks noice does your DOM need if you want a week off, been working nearly every fooking day since i joined RM 6 months ago and not had A/L yet im actually getting stressed out through it and returned 2 full bags of mail today because i just couldn't be bothered anymore

Moving to union room - but suggest you see DOM on Monday and book soemthing he might not even be aware that you have had no breaks.

how many hour's do you work if you are fulltime 40 hour you should have 3 week's as a legal min in a 12 month period posibiley more for royalmail i am not a rep maybe should be posted in union forum.

If you joined 6 months ago, you must be due the full years entitlement, about 4 weeks and a couple of days. These have to be taken before the next financial year starts which is April. See your DOM as you should be choosing the dates for NEXT YEARS holidays now and try for a couple of weeks before Christmas pressure starts, then use the rest up after New Year. Your DOM should be able to sort it out in a minute, if he can get of ebay long enough to find the annual leave pages that is.

part time 24.5 hours p/w but constantly doing O/T.

Hours worked has no bearing except when you are actually on holiday as they only pay you your contracted hours.

Even i did not know that but i have never been part time even the old dog's like me learn some thing new everyday and that is why this site is the most informative place for postalworkers.

i didnt tell my DOM earlier in the morning that i'd be returning mail, bet i get pulled up on Monday and he doesnt give me 1 week A/L because of it,

i'll then tell him where to stick his job

Contact your CWU Rep as soon as you can they may try for "delay of mail" and that's a big deal. Whatever you do don't go a see your DOM alone if he asks you to come into the office, in fact see the rep before you go in Monday if you can.

DO not tell him it was because of that get your union rep first thing in the morning just incase good luck.

when i decided to take the mail to the Post Office it ws 3pm!

3pm on a Saturday!

its gettin on top of me and i really need a week off.

im gonna try get 19th-24th Nov off, and i'll need a bit of luck to get that

i agreed to do O/T but on a different run, did the O/T 1st then back to the office to take out he run i was on at 1st, just far too tired as im working nearly every day and doing O/T nearly every day, i'll speak to my DOM on Monday mornng and i'll not go into his office alone

damn right im stressed, thats why i just gave up today, its just became too much, 6 months of non stop work, O/T etc
