Hypothetical question.

Can a DOM legally ask for proof that you are away, if they ask you to work a day off and you say no?

ask him to show proof what he's doing on his day off, along with every single person in the office who takes their day off too!
simple answer is no, or write down that you're having an affair with your bosses wife so please keep it quiet

If asked to work your day off the only information you're required to give is yes or no.

I always ask for double time and cash upfront if they want me to work my day off(if they have really annoyed me recently I add in a day in lieu also). That shuts linos and the Dom up.

Can't believe people actually think they have to give a reason for not wanting to work their day off FFS! What is this company coming to, honestly. Thought the original post was asking if you needed proof of an annual leave day off lol .
