Really ok people working with horrible coughs because they are afraid of getting a stage

Just go sick
If it’s just a minor cold obviously work on but a deep dark cough spluttering everywhere, surely the management should send them home? I said something but they said they couldn’t go sick because of a stage 2 possibility. Stage 2 ain’t even that bad really.

Where I used to work management used to try and get posties to go in even if they were really poorly,couldnt they see that it could be spread round the office?! Then if you did go sick they would want you to go down to the office for an interview! You couldnt make it up!

Best one I remember. Lad was on a stage-two. Dare not go sick. Caught some sort of Bubonic plague/flu. So, he struggled on...

He managed to spread it about - about 20 of us went off sick. Time? Christmas and New Year. Nobody questioned it - as management knew who had it. Surely common sense would decree, send him home. No. Must have cost 1000's.

There are very few occasions where a manager can send you home against your will.
The possibility of you spreading around a bit of cold/flu isn't one of them.
