Payslip confusion

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place or has already been asked before I've not used the site much!

I'm having a little bit of confusion with my payslip every week I have the following layout:

- Basic pay for my contracted 25 hours

- Delivery supplement

- Weekday OT1 1St 10 hrs

- Weekday overtime @ sspr

The last two are what is confusing me because the 1St 10 hours part always seems to make my hours come to more than what I've actually been writing down on the over time sheets.

For example last week in overtime I did 13 hours and 10 mins which comes under the weekday overtime @sspr, and then next to weekday OT1 1St 10 hours it says about 2 and a half hours and I don't know where that's come from, this has happened more than once can anyone explain

From memory SSPR is the hours from your Duty up to Full time hours (38).
This is paid at one rate, after 38 hours the rate increases for the next 10 hours.
Any hours worked after 48 hours is paid at a lower rate.
The 10 hour thing was brought in to encourage us to work less hours, which should have encouraged the employer to employ more full time staff to make up the hours. (that worked out well didn't it!)

SSPR should be paid for your first 13 hours of overtime. It includes the Delivery Suppliment, and any others, and means that a part-timer doing 38 hours is paid the same as a full-timer.

Don't think so, my SSPR rate is 12.05 per hour.

My 1st 10hrs rate is 11.48

You don't get delivery supplement on anything above 38 hrs and don't forget above 38 hrs OT is non-pensionable.

That's coz yer part time. Part timers get a higher £/hr rate than full time to equal out the drop of one hr on full time with the sww ( shorter working week). The £11.48 is what full time get for any overtime up to ten hrs.
Is it correct that a part timer gets pension paid on any overtime up to 38 hrs total? If so I might look at going part time and do a bit of overtime.

Full timers get pension contributions for their 38 hour contract. Part timers get whatever their contract is plus a percentage on overtime upto 38 hours. It's the same as delivery supplement. It matches the full timers.
