Just come across an anonymous account of another delivery companies work place environment, called the Amazon Diaries

Is this what Royal Mail ultimately wants to achieve?

Link doesn’t work for me but if it is basically controlling workers as if they are programmed robots, using a PDA to issue instruction and track compliance then yes, that’s where we’re headed.

You could very easily put the words "Royal Mail" in place of "Amazon". It is a massive race to the bottom that RM are intent on following.

yeah ive been thinking of this for a while, they tend to be so damn convenient is the problem ! however, im going to make a concerted effort to use other stores.
