Wages when off sick

Been off sick 10 weeks and in last couple have noticed changes in my wage slips .......reserved driving £6 weekly and door to door payment inlieu have not beenpaid. When is this removal allowed from if indeed it is legal? What are the rules ?

I thought it was after 8 weeks, the same as for S.A. That would be about right for you being on panel for10 weeks. I didn't think that you could lose your reserved driving allowance for 26 weeks.

Why does it always seem that we are in the dark when it comesto knowing the rules, or have no idea where to access the info.? Can there not be this info available as a resource, maybe even on this forum......the links on here are not up to date....we have to rely on Union rep getting back and with hols etc this can be too long after we nned the advice, so a resource link would be great, even if it was numbers to query faqs.....

SCHEDULED ATTENDANCE. these days it's not worth doing it. It used to be just why of double time. EVERY other company pays you a lot more for contractual overtime but the way forward agreement screwed the job up and this is the reason it's in the state of is today.

Thanks folks....but just really confirms my thoughts. Plentyof different opinions, which i thank you all for by the way, but no definitive resource for us to check whats current.....we are kept in the dark sowe dont challenge more often, and i knowthats a reps job but it seems almost impossible forthem to keep current, so what chance have i got? Still not sure why driving allowancehas gone? I thought 1/2 pay at 6 months......

Way Forward Agreement

Unlike NDA, Shift Allowances will continue to be paid during holidays and periods of short-term sickness or other absence. They will not be paid for periods on less than full pay. Payment will also cease after any single spell of two months continuous paid absence from work.

Seems like 8 weeks

Reserved driving allowance is not a shift allowance is it? I always believedit was payable regardless of even driving! apart from atthe time the agreement was made.....so i should still receive itthen?

Tiggs888, you are correct mate about the full pay for 26 weeks then half pay for another 26 weeks. Reserved driving allowance in sure is either 8 or 10 weeks. You will still get your Xmas bonus as long as sick pay is in payment.

Thank You. Only been off since sept so no bonus for me, but dont deserve it so not bothered about that.....Never had a day off at xmas in 21 yrs so deserve the rest more! Driving goes after 8 weeks apparently and leadership extra goes after 2weeks! Dont affect me but FYI for others ...cheers all and get that OT up while you can!

Tiggs888, Mate you are due your bonus as long as you are still getting FULL sick pay. Unless it's changed recently, then you are due the XMAS BONUS. Anybody else think different.
