Christmas Bonus

Ok so maybe it’s been asked elsewhere but I couldn’t see it so I’ll kick it off for this year - anyone know if we’re going to be getting the £200 as per the last few years or has RM moved those goalposts as well?

4 Christmas Pay Supplement
The Christmas pay supplement of £100 for full time OPG and OSGs, pro-rated for part
timers and 35-hour full timers (subject to the arrangements in Section 7) will be paid on
Friday, 21st December. The eligibility criteria for the Christmas supplement payment will be
the same as last year, based on the four December weeks (commencing Monday, 26th
November). In the unlikely event of any Industrial Action the abatement criteria will be
drawn from the PBS agreement.
The separate payment of £100 (pro rata for PT and 35hr full time employees) agreed in the
National Joint Statement - New Incentive Arrangements June 2012 will also be paid on
Friday, 21st December. As in previous years, any necessary top up payments for Part Time
or 35 hr Full time employees will be made in January 2019 in accordance with the actual
hours worked at standard rate, beyond contractual during 2018

Yes...unless you get a temporary increase of hours (to full-time) for the Christmas Pressure Period... in which case you'll qualify for the full whack

Doesn't go by hours worked or just what contract? Have a feeling us people who are on 24hr contracts but have full time floating duty get shafted again?

almost certainly by contract, so if youre making up hours on OT you`ll only get the bonus for a 24 hr contract or how many hours youre contracted to pro rata.

I thought this is how it works:
The Christmas bonus isn't £200 it is two separate lots of £100 each.
One of them is pro rated to your contracted hours and the other isn't. It is related to the actual hours worked.
If a part timer does full time hours over the Christmas pressure then they will get pro rata for the £100 xmas bonus but the full £100 of the other, but it won't get paid fully until January.
So a 25 hour contract p/t who works overtime to make up the full time hours will get about £166.(eventually)
If the contract is varied for the xmas pressure to 38 hours then they get the full 2 x £100.

My payslip for payment date 22/12/2017 . Working part-time - 20 hours per week.

Xmas Bonus (CWU) £51.28
Incentive Underpin Payment £51.28
Total = £102.56

£200 divided by 39 = £5.12 x 20 = £102.56

This year I expect total of £105.26 (£200 by 38 = £5.26 x 20)
