Series of mishaps and events really, culminating in the walk out last week. The Dom had promised to give an interview to a fellow postie over a disciplinary hearing that had been dragged out over 4 months. The postie in question had been suspended from all driving duties while under investigation, meaning he lost around £110 a week in sa's. That tied with the fact that what he was being disciplined for, carried a sackable offensive, the postie had had enough with worry. He took drastic action that other postie had become aware of, and they, the posties, had decided enough was enough. All was resolved within 30 minutes, and workers back inside after the area manager had given the strikers a gate talk. Lots of spiel about this that and the other, and they were back in.
